Millet balls

Ingredients
  • 2 cups millet flour (ideally finger millet)
  • 1 cup jaggery powdered
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • ¼ cup clarified butter
  • a pinch ginger powder
Instructions

1. Dry roast the flour until light golden.

2. Add enough water to jaggery and place it over medium flame.

3. Stir regularly until jaggery has fully dissolved.

4. Strain to remove impurities.

5. Place it over the flame and simmer until it starts to thicken.

6. In the wok or saucepan, add roasted millet flour, jaggery, clarified butter and ginger power. Stir well until you see a dough like consistency

7. Take out the mixture and pinch out balls as per a size convenient to you.

8. Store them in air-tight container.
